Dirk Willers began his professional career with the management consultancy Booz Allen Hamilton in Chicago, USA. He then held various positions at Daimler AG in Stuttgart for over 12 years, where he served as Head of Department responsible for Product Management and Marketing Service & Parts MB Passenger Cars, among other duties. In 2015, Dirk Willers joined ElringKlinger. In his role as Vice President, he took over the Aftermarket division as well as the management of ElringKlinger Logistic Service GmbH.
