What we can offer you

We offer you two routes to a career at ElringKlinger. You can join us as a direct entrant, which will include a targeted induction program for a specific role and a personalized schedule so that you can "find your feet" as soon as possible. Alternatively, you can join us as a trainee once you have completed your degree studies. In this case, you will be introduced to various departments and will also be given international assignments.

Application process

You would like to know what happens to your application once you have sent it to us via our online tool. We appreciate that. After all, this is an exciting moment in your future career.

You will be notified by e-mail as soon as we have received your application through the online careers portal. Your documents will then be forwarded to the HR Advisor responsible for such applications. Having preselected suitable applicants, he will then pass on the details of potential candidates to the relevant department.

Those candidates considered to be suitable will be invited to a personal interview. You will be introduced to a representative of our HR department as well as a staff member of the department or unit to which you would later be assigned. If this first meeting and a second interview prove successful, we would be delighted to welcome you to our team – but only, of course, if you feel that we are the right employer for you.

Please apply online by using our Web-based application form. It allows you to apply to a specific position advertised by the company or submit a speculative application. If you use the online form, we can also guarantee that your application will be processed quickly and efficiently.

In Germany, an application includes all relevant educational documentation. Please submit a well-written and convincing cover letter, your full CV/résumé as well as copies of relevant certificates and references (e.g. school-leaving and vocational training certificates, certificate of degree program, employment references).

For international applicants: To apply, please submit a well-written and convincing cover letter together with your CV/résumé. In your cover letter please specify for which position you wish to apply and why this role is particularly appealing to you. In which areas is ElringKlinger primarily recruiting at present?

Whether you have a background in business or in a technical discipline, ElringKlinger offers extensive career opportunities in a number of areas. As an automotive supplier, we have strong demand for qualified engineers. In other areas too, however, we are always looking to attract highly motivated people, e.g. in Sales, Purchasing or Controlling.

Is it possible for me to submit a speculative application?

If you have not found a job opening that matches your profile, you are also welcome to send us an unsolicited application. Should your application be of interest to us, we may retain your records for further reference at a later stage and contact you if a suitable job opportunity arises.

When can I apply for a trainee place?

Our trainee positions are made available during the summer or winter semester depending on company requirements. Details of trainee places are published on our website six months prior to commencement.

Which references/certificates should I include with the application?

We require all relevant documents, such as school-leaving certificates, vocational qualification certificates, employment references and a document confirming that you have completed your degree studies (if available).
