And that is what it will look like: the new ElringKlinger subsidiary in Ranjangaon, India (computer visualisation).

The internationalization strategy of ElringKlinger is targeted at the direct and fast access to the most important automotive markets of the world. For this reason, a new subsidiary was established in India in 2007 – ElringKlinger Automotive Components (India) Pvt. Ltd. The official inauguration of the new plant has been scheduled for April 12, 2008.

ElringKlinger is known for innovative, advanced technology and comprehensive service. Our engineering and production expertise make us an attractive development partner and supplier to the automotive industry. We are now also present locally for our customers in the Indian growth market.

The new plant with a covered floor space of 4,500 square meters is located in Ranjangaon, 45 kilometers east of Pune and in direct proximity to the production locations of various vehicle manufacturers.

Production commenced on schedule at the end of 2007, starting with cylinder-head gaskets and specialty gaskets. The first orders from Indian vehicle manufacturers are already in the books. Step by step, in accordance with local market requirements, the production of cover modules and shielding parts will be added.
