The German Corporate Governance Code is an important set of statutory regulations covering the management and supervision of German exchange-listed companies. It aims to produce a transparent and comprehensible system of corporate governance in Germany and furthermore to win the confidence of international and national investors, customers, employees and the public in the management and supervision of German listed companies.
