Private investors impressed by ElringKlinger’s communications work

How well do listed companies keep their private shareholders informed? This was the question put by Börse Online to its readers. The survey rated the 160 biggest exchange-listed companies in Germany’s DAX, MDAX, SDAX and TecDAX indices. ElringKlinger emerged as one of the most successful, with a particularly strong record of proactive, credible and intelligible communications – an important criterion for private investors – earning it a Top 3 place in the overall ranking and within the MDAX.

ElringKlinger places great emphasis on the satisfaction of its private investors, not least because this group owns nearly 15% of the company’s stock. Consequently, it is delighted to be awarded third place in the survey and extremely pleased by the positive feedback on its investor relations work. As well as providing comprehensive and up-to-date information about the company and its stock on the website, ElringKlinger has set up a telephone contact system allowing shareholders to speak directly to a member of the Investor Relations team. Specifically directed at private investors, the company also hosts regular live online chats with the CEO, Dr. Stefan Wolf. Furthermore, ElringKlinger is an active member of the Baden-Wuerttemberg Small Caps Initiative BWSC, which aims primarily to improve the quality of information made available to private shareholders.

The latest survey was the ninth conducted by Börse Online. With over nine hundred individual ratings, the awards are regarded as one of the most important competitions in this field.
