As a company operating within the global arena, the ElringKlinger Group has also developed a worldwide supplier system – a system that is continuously expanding as part of the regional growth of the Group. Procurement for the ElringKlinger Group is handled by the Corporate Purchasing department of the parent company (AG) in Dettingen/Erms, Germany.
Particularly in Asia, our supplier structure has been further extended to service the ongoing expansion of our production capacity.
The ElringKlinger Group monitors its suppliers and audits them against international ISO standards and its own extremely demanding quality and environmental guidelines. These measures not only enable purchasing to occur in local markets, thus reducing our logistics costs, but also uncover more economical supply-side sources for other companies within the Group.
For this purpose, Corporate Purchasing carries out regular quality and cost analysis on a global and extensive scale.
