Global procurement for the companies of the ElringKlinger Group is largely managed by the Corporate Purchasing department of ElringKlinger AG in Dettingen/Erms, Germany.
As Theo Becker, member of the Management Board responsible for such areas as Corporate Materials Management, points out: “Our employees in the procurement department have a major impact on the costs incurred by companies within the ElringKlinger Group, which also means they have the opportunity to make a sustainable contribution to value creation and profitability. Particular emphasis is placed on value chain integration.” As part of the takeover of the SEVEX Group, our increased requirements for aluminum are now pooled for procurement purposes, which benefits the entire Group.
