Professional career

In 1972 Walter H. Lechler was a member of the shareholder committee of Elring GmbH and in 1989 became its chairman. In 1976 he was a member of the Supervisory Board of ZWL Grundbesitz- und Beteiligungs-AG, and became Deputy Chairman of that board in 1989. From 2000 until 2010, Walter H. Lechler has been Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board. In addition, Mr. Lechler has been a managing partner of Lechler GmbH, Metzingen, since 1975 and a member of the supervisory boards of its subsidiary and affiliate companies.
