Corporate Governance Statement

Since the German Accounting Law Modernization Act (BilMoG) came into effect, the so-called Corporate Governance Statement became part of German commercial law.

A new section, 289a of the German Commercial Code (HGB), was introduced to reflect this.

The statement forms an integral part of the Group Management Report. It contains:

• the Declaration of Compliance with the German Corporate Governance Code pursuant to Section 161 of the German Stock Corporation Act (AktG)
• details of Group management practices
• a description of how the Management Board and Supervisory Board work

In addition, the Corporate Governance Report forms part of the Group Governance Statement. By publishing its Corporate Governance Statement, ElringKlinger makes all essential information available in a condensed form.
